This video made our day!! Imagine strolling up to check your lottery ticket like you have a zillion times in the past, only this time, it says you won A MILLION DOLLARS! Thats what happened recently to one Cottonwood shopper. It was just a regular day, until it wasn't. The video is terrible quality (sorry about that), but you can see his knees almost buckle at the news, and then it kicks in..he's officially a millionaire! Congratulations to him & his wife on their big win!

Fashion in 2021 will see a more realistic aesthetic. Wearable, comfortable, breathable, and sustainable. Bright (and not neon bright, but happy bright), calming colors, pretty florals, soft, breathable fabrics. Oversized cuts, including in suiting for both men and women. Upcycling, vintage, and re worked pieces will be all over the place (it all started with DIY tie dye through the pandemic). Statement sleeves and shoulders are going to carry forward into Spring 2021. Why? Because they are fun. Various shades of Pink, yellow and gray will be the main palletes for spring. While you may not see them on runways [...]
Haven't we always had a drawer full of "slobby/sloppy clothes"? You know, the ones we wear when nobody is looking? The drawer that is filled with favorites that nobody outside of our kids and partner is allowed to see. This drawer normally houses our pajamas, and also a variety of clothing. I have my "hair dying shirt", my "cleaning with bleach shirt", my "painting shirt", my gardening shirt (and shoes) and then there is a whole stack of my old t shirts that I wear to bake or cook or to just chill at home. The common denominator with all of these [...]
While most of Cottonwood was closed during the lock-down, our building projects kept moving forward. This week we began construction on our new freestanding retail pad located between Burger King & Earls. We have been getting some questions about which retailers will be in that building, and unfortunately all we can say right now is that we will make announcements on that project in the future. We expect completion of this building to coincide with the larger Save on Foods/Old Navy/Club 16/Cora project for early 2021. But you know...construction....anything can happen! We also wanted to show you a map of [...]

"Masks are now required for everyone in all public indoor settings and workplaces. People who cannot wear a mask or who cannot put on or remove a mask on their own are exempt. Employers are expected to enforce the mandatory mask policy with both employees and customers. A customer can be refused entry or service if they do not wear a mask. Masks are required in all indoor public settings and all retail stores." This [...]
COVID-19 has thrown a wrench into a lot of plans & special days, and it's looking like Mothers Day 2020 (Sunday, May 10th) is going to be one of them. With most stores closed, and most of us unable to be in the same room with our loved ones, celebrating anything right now means getting creative...at a distance! If you live near your mom, we thought we would give you an idea starter for doing something special together, at a distance. The general idea is to create your mamma a special Mothers Day care package she can use to make dinner, [...]
